Terese Stevenson

Vice President Grants; The Rees-Jones Foundation

Terese has served on the staff of The Rees-Jones Foundation since its inception in 2007. Responsible for overseeing the Foundation’s overall grantmaking investments, Terese is active in developing relationships in local and international communities, and with grant seekers to help advance innovation and best practices in program areas of high interest to the Foundation: Child Welfare, Child Mental Health and Disability, Healthy Families, Youth Experiences and Animal Welfare; as well as an international portfolio focused on justice issues, safe water, specialty medical care and child development/family stability.  Terese is a Court Appointed Special Advocate and a board member with Dallas CASA.  She is also serving on the Advisory Council for the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University.  As an active participant and a founding member of the Texas Child Welfare Learning Collaborative, she is committed to raising awareness of concerns related to vulnerable youth, and for children in the child welfare system. Terese has served as a member of the Steering Committee of the Dallas 0-5 Funder’s Collaborative and was appointed to the Texas Expanded Learning Opportunities Council established by the Texas State Legislature, serving in 2017. She is personally involved in local and global ministry partnerships, with a particular interest in justice issues.
